Several Questions

so i've finished my hackintosh. kinda.

 

its a GA-EP35-DS3P, with an intel Q9550, 8GB Corsair RAM, and an XFX 9800GTX+

 

well, it works, but not "usable" so far.

i have several problems, the biggest one so far is the WiFi.

i have tried the old WiFi card that worked out of the box on my PowerMac G5, its quite an old Linksys WMP54G PCI version.

the hackintosh didnt even see it, it just said "no airport isntalled", but i readl (HCL) that it should work out of the box.

 

okey, next atempt was a D-Link DWA-556, the systemprofiler said "Airport card installed, but not activated" or such. i just couldnt activate it.

 

so, any guess what i could to?

 

so far i have a macbook conected to WiFi and shared via RJ45 to the hackintosh. i cant however see any network available (bonjour), nor cant i connect to another mac in the network (with a known IP). is this cause the bonjour isnt working, or cause i'm on the network via the macbook internet sharing?

furthermore, i can only see with temperature monitor the temperature of the harddrive, other than i cant see any sensors, therefor i cant check the temperatures, only via rebooting in to BIOS.

any idea how i can activate the other sensors?

when i start geekbench, it crashed right after opening. i read that this was some sort of issue with AMD hacks, but as i dont have an AMD i dont think its cause of that.
