moridinbg
After fighting the weird resilution during install problem (see my other thread) I managed to finish my installation. Now I am faceing another problem. The bootup simply hangs around dsmos starting... I have tried various combinations between -v -x -legacy cpus=1, but that doesn't help. It in fact managed to boot once. On the 4th try. I created an account, installed some basic stuff, installed ipw2200 driver and rebooted for it. It doesn't start again. I tried at least 10 times, but it doesn't want to boot! The time it booted there were several additional lines, somewehre above the "BSD root:..." stuff. One of them was about starting Login Window or something. Any help would be appreciated This is standart Leo4All 10.5.2, with only English and Russian language support, and nothing else. HP tc4200; Pentium M@1.86Ghz, 915GL (GMA900), 2GB DDR2. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/136935-hanging-during-boot/ Share on other sites
moridinbg
Just gave it another try. With just cpus=3 it booted fine. Then I closed/opened the lid which caused really distorted image, because of which I rebooted. Now it hangs in just the same way, no matter cpus=[whatever] i put.
