Hey guys, first post here.

Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times already, I just want to make sure I don't install anything else that could possibly mess up my system. After reading http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=77165, I wasn't sure if I should download and install the listed shutdown/restart fixes since my issues have nothing to do with the computer going to sleep. Simply put, whenever I'm on the Mac, my computer will not fully shutdown or restart regardless if the computer goes to sleep or not (I never use sleep mode anyway).

System specs:

10.5.5 Retail installed via Chameleon + generic.iso (running off a 500GB USB drive)

Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R

GeForce 8400 GS 256MB (EFIStudio)

Intel Q6600

Other than the issue described above, everything else is working fine.
