I installed Mac OSX from MaC.OsX.10.4.5.Universal.Install.DVD(INTEL_AMD_SSE3_SSE2).iso and in the installation process everything got fine, however when I try to start the OS it freezes in the starting screen (see the picture below) I've read the forum but I can't find a solution for this issue, please help me! ZeDz Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 Boot with the "-v" command for startup so that you will be able to find the exact error that is hanging your startup, it could be a number of things. turby Posted April 1, 2006 Author Share Posted April 1, 2006 No never, that was my first try. I've noticed that when install linux my notebook freeze at pcmcia initialization. Can be the same problem with osx? When I start with -v -s from dvd everything is fine. When I start with -v -s from hdd at first llok everything is looking fine but at the end, I can't write in the prompt and the cursor is freezed.
