shadowers Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 While Os X is running and im doing stuff my hard drives will occasionally spin down and then spin up. Why are they doing this? This isn't related to my knowledge, but when I do certain things like download a file the os just says that it needs to shut down now. What is causing this? EDIT: Oh, I found there was any option to turn the hard drives when possible.
