Dreamboy2K Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Hi Guys, recently i had some troubles trying to install Ideneb 1.3 10.5.5 on a M3n78 Pro motherboard, which mounts a Quad Core AMD Phenom and an Nvidia Geforce 8300 chipset which i never head about before. Actually the cd fully boots but Disk Utility doesn't seem to see my Maxtor Sata2 500GB hdd. Could it be a kext problem? Is the chipset so new so there are no kext ready? _Dave03_ Posted November 15, 2008 Share Posted November 15, 2008 In the bios, your sata HDD is set to "SATA Mode". Change this to "AHCI MODE" and it should be recorgnized fine. Right now, I'm installing iDeneb ond my new M3N78-EM. Hope I will get the 8300, lan and audio to work good luck!
