Hi all,

I have been using 10.5.4 for a while now (kalyway 10.5.2 then kalyway combo 10.5.3 and apple 10.5.4).

I was switching between ubuntu and mac os and did not pay attention to the update scene.

So I decided to update to 10.5.5 using the apple software update.

The 10.5.5 was downloaded then the installation started and at about 50% I had the 'please restart your computer by pressing and holding the power button" message.

Now each time I boot, I have the grey screen then the same message again.

As a result, I can not boot anymore.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem or eventually how to reverse back to 10.5.4?

I did some searches but could not find something that describe exactly my problem.

thanks

Thanks for the answer.

Sorry to ask but could someone please redirect me to a thread regarding the tutorial for 10.5.5 and this power management problem?

I did some search on the forum and could not find anything.

Probably because I did not know what to search for exactly.

Thanks a lot
