dailo
I was looking at the linux tools and noticed that there is a loader that can handle 3 OS's. Would it be possible for me to tripplle boot mac os x, windows xp and FreeBSD on my MacBook Pro? Thanks. In case you're referring to rEFIt -- yes and no. rEFIt itself is just a boot menu, not an OS loader. It can handle any number of OSes, but you'll still need an actual loader for each one. Right now you can triple-boot Mac OS X, Windows XP (via xom.efi) and Linux (via elilo). As far as I know FreeBSD has no support for EFI on x86, only on IA64. Of course, that may change in the future, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
