zeamp Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Getting the internal Ethernet to work on my Dell Inspiron 1525 seems like an almost impossible task. There are people (you know who you are) hard at work on drivers but it's simply just not there yet for certain NIC models. Wireless works great (Broadcom) however I'm in a funky area with so much wireless traffic I seem to disconnect constantly. NOT ANYMORE! A $29.99 adapter released for the MacBook Air solved all my wired woes. And it's official Apple, and Best Buy has it on sale. If you're going to go wired, there's no real extra work in plugging in twice. Read my full article for the horrible story on WHY I have to go wired... I hate not being the decision-maker sometimes...
