lia1971
Hi, excuse for my english... I've installed TOAST 9.0.2 and Burn, but the problem arises when I make burning a DVD Video: the two software, after converting files for the preparation of the DVD, just starts writing on the support, Leopard goes to crash (gray screen with an invitation to shut down the system and reboot). With other types of copies, such as CD to "flight", DVD data, etc. I've not had any problems. A my hypothesis is that perhaps the recorders are not SATA but are IDE controllers and the flow of DVD video is too big: if it can really the problem let me know me before I buying a new DVD recorder SATA (unfortunately I have to come to terms with my portfolio ) Meanwhile I've already arrived at five DVD burning crash, someone can enlighten me? Thanks in advance. Regards Lia1971 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/135026-resolved-dvd-ide-burn-dvd-video-with-crash-ideneb-1055/ Share on other sites
rick0502
i also had this problem with iDVD. the movie encoded fine but when it went to burn i got the gray box. i was able to burn the file to a disk using the disk utility (i think that is what it was called). i am making an image now to see if i can burn the image to disk, maybe it was an iDVD problem. rick0502
well with toast i was able to burn an image to disk. i had to burn at 6x speed. i think the problem has to do with the speed it is trying to burn at. so try burning at a slower speed.
