Buffer overrun detected!

I've been trying to get NBA Live 06 to run using Cider (1835). It wouldn't run off the CDs (always asked me to insert correct CD no matter which one I put in) so I downloaded a no-cd crack. Now I'm getting the following error:

Buffer overrun detected!

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's

internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must

now be terminated.

 

Any ideas? Or is there a way to get the program to detect the CD I insert?
