Davemon Posted March 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 Hi All, I did a native install on a Dell D610 laptop, (Intel 915 chipset with Pentium M CPU) and if I hook up an external monitor and send the signal to it while its booting, OSx boots fine, sound and everything. If I unplug external monitor and just let laptop boot it just sits at a light blue screen, no cursor, etc. I've tried -x for safe mode and "Graphics Mode" commands at boot time with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks for all the info on this site! I don't want to have to have that.. I used an external monitor on my 915 based Acer from time to time, and it would be a pain to have to redo that hack every time. Is there no software way to make the 915s behave properly with or without an external?
