manofthemuck
hey all, I just done a converted a pc to run hackintosh. Its got a ATI Radeon x800GTO in but i cant get correct drivers that work with it and im not sure on making or editing stuff myself. So im after a PCIe graphics card that will work out of the box with all features on leopard. I want to use it with logic 8 so id prefer to use dual screen and it needs the Quartz GL. I wouldnt mind DVI but its not a must. Needs to be a reasonable price. If anyone has a x800 kext that would be extremely helpful and id save some money! Thanks Phil Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/134618-out-of-box-fully-supported-cards/ Share on other sites
nz_mitch
9600GT works great for me. You'll need to follow the instructions to get it going with the new drivers but if you've got 10.5.5 installed it's a no brainer. Mine works with QE/CI and dual monitor too. Khan_Man
I'd use a card that Apple has put in stock machines (7300GT, 7600GT, 8800GT .... x1600, x1900, 2900, 3870(aftermarket)).
