Tip
Update: 10.4.4 /10.4.5 and 10.4.3 prepatched DVD isos are working both using the VGA wire trick. Works very fine using firewire and 1400 x 1050 display solution. But there is not network (driver?). Any solution? ..::gee::.. But there is not network (driver?). Any solution? Hi there, since monday i'm a proud owner of a samsung x20 xvm 1730 V. first install i tried was the 10.4.6 HotISO, with the result, that installing was fine without any problems besides the bluescreen thing (had to boot up about 10-20 times for making the installation (later the OS) working. But when it worked, it really did, besides laggy sound playback. my display (1400 x 1050, too) worked in natural resolution out of the box. and, check this ;-) , my build-in network card had no problems connecting at all, right from the start. so, just try to get the 10.4.6 kexts i think, nor? right at the moment i'm running an installation with "MaC.OsX.10.4.5.Universal.Install.DVD(INTEL_AMD_SSE3_SSE2).iso" using the wire-trick. it worked with the first bootup-try. let's hope the best... so long, gee ps: im'm only going to install the 10.4.5 because my 10.4.6 version was lacking iLife =(( Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13459-which-iso-version-will-work-for-samsung-x20-laptop/#findComment-144903 Share on other sites
