ct2k7
Hi all, first post here, so excuse me if this is in the wrong section. I've managed to install OSx86 10.5.2 on my Dell Inspiron 6400, however, upon boot, at the boot screen, (apple logo + spinning thing), the thing spins for about 5 seconds before the laptop restarts. This is a new install on a 10GB partition. I've burned the install disk a few times (slow speed), checked the MD5 and they match, so it can't be a problem with the disk/image. Tried disk repair, no problems there. If I boot with -v, I am notified that there have been errors whilst starting the computer. Then here are the last few lines Unknown SIGFPE Code 1, subcode 0. Syncing disks... killing all processes continuing done MACH reboot ============================================== UPDATE: Just recieved this screen: You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button. After doing so, I am retuned to the original problem: computer restarts at bootscreen. I've just fixed a HFS+ Partition error by using terminal on the installation disk to fix the MBR. Anyway, should should I do?
