brgroup
I had this installing Iatkos on a HP a6120 - p5lp-le mobo.. Not the same machine, I know, but check your SATA drivers and your BIOS settings.. I had switched my SATA 1 settings to AHCI..Reinstalled OSX and it worked flawlessly.. I also found that different osx86 CD's have different success on the same machine..My best disks were iAtkos 4i, Kalyway 10.5.2 and Leo4All v3 Good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/133118-i-got-a-message-still-waiting-for-root-device/#findComment-943621 Share on other sites
nguyenhoangvk
I have no chance to switch SATA to AHCI, the only thing I can do is convert the RAID disk to 2 non-raid disks.
