justfred
I'm getting a kernel panic when I boot OSX (Kalway 10.5.2): invalid frame pointer 0 kernel loadable modules in backtrace com.nvidia.driver.AppleNFOrceATA 1.0.3 dependancy com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily 2.4.1 dependancy com.apple.iokit.IOATAFamily 1.7.3f1 bsd process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task My system: MSI NEO2 K8N 2Gb 200Gb SATA AMD64 3200 I've tried -x, -F, platform=x86pc,none of which work. It's weird because if I reboot with the DVD in the drive, hit F8 and type -v rd=disk0s5, it boots into OSX, albeit at 1024x768 and the about this mac causes a restart. Odd! I'm searching the site but nothing so far - any ideas? *sigh* so near yet so far! justfred
I configured grub to use the files from pc_efi v8.0. Is it possible this is causing my problems? It's odd that it'll boot from the DVD but not from the HDD.
