scouser84
Good Morning! n00bies start early lol heres a quick run down.. 200gig SATA partitioned as such: partition 1: 20 gig (XP) partition 2: 150 gig (files) partition 3: 20gig (OSX) i did the whole primary thing and installed OSX (XP already installed) however.. OSX will only boot if the dvd is in the drive, and when im given then option to press f8 to select OS.. it only gives me "(h111;1) MacOSXx86" i since cannot get into XP at all.. and can only get into OSX if i stick in the dvd at the beginning of boot up.. how can i show XP in the boot up options? or at least.. find another way to get into XP.. if i select boot device, and select my hdd... the flashing underscore just... scrolls down.. nothing happens.. Thanks in advance! ------------------------------------- P4 3.0ghz HT 1 gig SDRAM Dual Channel Nvidia 6600 gt 128 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13150-booting-problems/ Share on other sites
scouser84
On top of this, ive re installed XP, installed Acronis disk director and OS selector... however when i reinstall OSX, and re boot the OS selector pops up... only to show OSX, even that doesnt seem to be able to find XP on my partition... tried following these steps: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=11339 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13150-booting-problems/#findComment-83641 Share on other sites
