McClain Posted October 14, 2008 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Hi Im having problems getting my internet working. i installed 10.5.4 and i have a intel pro 100 nic in the system settings it says the cable is unplugged but it is not and ifconfig only displays loopback anyone have any ideas? ditchmagnet Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 I dont have any solution yet, but i also have a intel pro 100ve, and it actually does work when i first install osx, then after a reboot or two, i get the same problem you are having. I used the flat image install, did you? one strange thing is that i am experiencing this problem more recently. When i first intalled it it didnt do it, but now it happens very quickly after a fresh instal.
