snail8185 Posted October 4, 2008 Share Posted October 4, 2008 So I have a MSI motherboard. The model is MS-7528 i think. I believe that has the ALC888 sound. I have sound, but it gets distorted. Is there a better sound card i can get and install or motherboard thats more compatible? I'd really like to be able to have sound and use Logic to record. Is this possible? I'm kinda stuck and lost at this point. Any help or input would be appriciated. Also, i'm new to the installing of drivers and such. Do you happen to know what distro and packages you installed to get is working???
