sjf905 Posted September 13, 2008 Share Posted September 13, 2008 Hello. A few days ago, I looked into how to partition my Mac so that it would have 3 partitions -> OS X, XP Pro & Backup. I successfully split the drive 3 ways, resinstalled OS X and now I am ready to install XP. Bootcamp is yelling at me; it wants one drive with no partitions to start with. Is there a way to install Windows XP on the FAT drive I created when I partitioned and have Bootcamp recognize it? Please don't tell me I have to start all over again!! iPirate Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 I take it you can't find the partition to install to when you're booted off the XP SP2 install disc? If you've already partitioned your drive you don't need the Boot Camp assistant.
