Edray
If I leave a disc in my pioneer dvr-216bk dvd drive for a while (doesn't matter whether it is mac or pc disc), then a window pops up like a new blank disc was inserted. If I click eject nothing happens (but the window pops again 2 seconds later), if I click OK then I get an error 0x8002025 disc drive not supported. I'm using an iAtkos 4i install on a p5k wifi deluxe motherboard (it uses the ICH9R SATA controller). I previously had a lite-on SATA drive and it kept crashing the finder, so I got the pioneer. Generally works better, but has this one problem. When I dual boot into windows it works fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your help. srrvlr
Same error here, but I guess the topic has been dropped. If you've solved your issue, would you please share the solution? Thanks. MacDave Pro
Open the Energy Saver Preferences and set Computer Sleep to never. Reboot. The Pioneer BD's don't wake from sleep correctly. This solves the problem. If I leave a disc in my pioneer dvr-216bk dvd drive for a while (doesn't matter whether it is mac or pc disc), then a window pops up like a new blank disc was inserted.
