Scenario: X61s - Kalyway 10.5.2 Atheros 5211 was working fine. Noticed issues with USB not starting as things are plugged in. Turbos's ad1984 was here today gone tomorrow....so.... I upgraded to 10.5.3....normal upgrade....package..then kernel 9.3 upgrade..update -v. Done. Looked fine....but not Wireless....{censored}. Looked and looked...sorry if the fix is out there and this is redundant... Long story short... The 10.5.3 installed IO80211Family.kext v2.1...did not work. I pulled my stock Kalyway 10.5.2 and yanked the IO80211Family.kext from it.....v1.6.2...presto...wireless is back.
