P4 3.2 Prescott (socket 478) Asrock p4dual-915 with gma900 1GB pc3200 I got Core image and QE working (repatched coregraphics and then delete appleintel830 in extentions) Mobo sound works out of the box. I installed logic without any hassle, but it wont load up. When I click on the icon, it goes to the register pane but when you click 'register later' or even if you input details and click 'register' the app just shuts down. Keep in mind that I am using the 7.0.0 version and havn't tried the 7.1 yet. I will download over the next few days and report back ( or if someone lives in South east london (UK) and wants to give me a DVD with the files on I'll be able to try it out quicker). Unfortunatly I tried to install my MOTU 828mk2 Firewire soundcard but it wont work. I'll post another thread regarding this. jccool Posted August 26, 2005 Share Posted August 26, 2005 just to let you know i had the same porblem with express 7.0 ...but then i installed 7.0 pro and the patch and then i installed update cd to 7.1 and reinstalled the same patch and voilla its working great and make shure that you have a sound card or onboard card that it can see...you cant do anything anyway because logicaudio is only ASIO compliant so none ASIO cards dont work....if someone finds a ASIO card that works great pleases post it ....i have a m-audio firewire 410 but it dosent work ..........i have a d915gav motherboard ...sse3...160 gig sata harddisk i had to buy a soundblaster live 24 bit USB card to hear sound Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1239-logic-express-installs-but-wont-load/#findComment-7741 Share on other sites More sharing options...
