krustyjugglerz
Hey, I'm using kalyway 10.5.2, and I've gotten most of Leopard working; however, my 2nd DVD/CD drive set to primary slave, is having trouble reading the discs that I put in it. It certainly isn't a problem with the actual DVD drive because it works fine in windows. Leopard recognizes my drive, and is displayed under ATA drives. I put in a DVD and my Warcraft 3 discs and they didn't work, but when I put in an Audio CD it seemed to work fine. I'm not what is wrong. jackthekippa
Just wanted to say I'm having the exact same problem, also on 10.5.2. It's annoying because my other drive is CD/CD-RW and not DVD. It's extra strange as it's the drive I used to install leopard in the first place! Just like yours its recognised in system profiler and even gives the name of the disc inserted. It's also impossible to open the drive while mac is started except with a pin. Any help would be much appreciated! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/123530-trouble-with-primary-slave-dvd/#findComment-877245 Share on other sites
