osxy Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I am trying to install a brand new Acer 7520G with Kalyway's 10.5.2 DVD. I've booted the laptop from the dvd with -V mode and -S mode, made no difference. Both ways i end up in the installer (hurray) but in disk util I only see the DVD player and i dont see the internal HD. In the bios i can't change the modus of the HD so that's no solution(can't find a option to turn AHCI on or off) What can i do to solve this. osxy Posted August 28, 2008 Author Share Posted August 28, 2008 Today I tried the same with the laptop this time with the iATKOS 4a (10.5.4 for AMD) disk. Still no luck. I guess the drivers for the internal sata controller arn't supplied, does anyone know how to solve this?
