JimBob
I've read through the posts on enlarging partitions, and think I have the solution down using ghost I backed it up and added it to an empty USB drive. I select this USB drive (in bios) to boot first. I still get the boot loader from the primary drive coming up (I've tried Darwin's, Acronis, & XP's). Under Darwin's, I can select the USB partition to boot from, then see brief activity lights on the USB drive, then the primary Darwin partion loads. Not the USB partition, even though I selected it. I'm guessing that where the USB drive was empty--except for the new ghost image--that there is not a master boot record on the drive. So, it's going to the MBR of the primary HD (the next in line set in bios). Can/how do I add a MBR to the USB drive? I'm hoping if I do this, I can boot the USB image and use iPartition to resize my primary partition. System: Intel D945GNTLKR MB Intel Pentium D 930 proc.
