PJ-27 Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 I recently managed to install Leopard onto my pc as a dual boot with xp only to find issues with my audio hardware in leopard. After looking around the net for ages ive come to find that this seems to be quite a common problem, leopard recognises that the hardware exists and as far as its aware its working, but alas no physical sound. Intially i didnt see this as an issue, since im using leopard for pro audio production and so use an external sound card with its own drivers and mac compatibilty, BUT it works on firewire, funnily enough being more hardware that leopard doesnt recognise. I guess my question is, is there a way i can either piece of hardware to work, preferably the firewire. My laptop is custom made by Rizeon so im not entierly sure of its hardware, but i can list its spec. I was a complete noob when i started to make my hackintosh, and its mainly down to luck ive come this far, but im at a dead end now and it would be a great shame for all this work to go to waste. Any help is much appreciated! even if its just a point in teh right direction. Thanks. PS. if you need any more info about my laptop just say and ill try and get it, ill check this post regularly.
