Moleshome
What version did you install? I've installed 10.4.6 and neither the ethernet or wireless are detected although it does find the Firewire and Bluetooth. If yours has found a wireless nic on en0 then you need to edit one of the plist files (cant remember which one, a search should find it) to make it en1 and then it should work. Hadn't seen your other post. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12183-successful-install-on-hpcompaq-nw8000/#findComment-115867 Share on other sites
paashaas
Wireless is not going to work, however ethernet is working fine for me. I had to manually install a modified kext file. I have attached the file with instructions on how to install it. For more information check out this thread: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=4987 Enjoy! Moleshome
Thanks, I came across that thread over the weekend and got it working yesterday. It's annoying that I had to go out and buy a wireless ethernet bridge and plug my laptop in but it's better than nothing.
