israel102 Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 i have an hp pavilion dv6282ea laptop. it only has 1 hard drive (excluding the 5gb backup drive) so i was wondering whether or not i can install leopard on my 80gb ipod, and then in order to boot OSX i would have to plug in my ipod. i've searched the forums but i couldn't get a real answer. i see i have to have a bios that supports booting from external HD and i don't know if thats the case. also, i would like to know which version would best suit my laptop. the closest i could find in the wiki/that thread is a hp pavilion dv6233ea and that guy used a brazilimac patch. i don't know how close that laptop is to mine and i don't want a patch, i want a full image. i know my system supports sse2 and sse3 and it says by bios is version f.16. would leo4all work? i know it must be so annoying helping noobs like me all day but I'm a fast learner and any help would be soo appreciated. thank you so much! Get a cheap USB drive off e-bay!
