sanpedro
I have a Toshiba Satellite P105-S6104 and I just replaced my Intel wireless card with a Dell Broadcom card. After the replacement the computer won't boot at all. If I take the card out it boots fine. Would this be due to a dead card or is there a way to fix this? Thanks. uridongsan
Its not a dead card but Toshiba probably locked up the bios for not leting users to use other than their supporting cards.. Look for DW1390 and go in to HPand Dell1390 thread ,...guess you are having simillar problem with HP users Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121697-computer-wont-boot-with-new-wireless-card/#findComment-861034 Share on other sites
sanpedro
Nice link, but either I'm not too sure about the HexIt program or the values that I need to switch are on a different path and I don't want to risk bricking my system. I have no 1505 and I saw someone changed theirs at 1510 but I don't have f8 there either. If anyone has gotten around the whitelist problem on a Toshiba any help would be greatly appreciated.
