jlipscomb
Good Day All, I am having an issue that cannot get rid of, I would like to Uninstall Mac OS X version 10.4.10 from my HP laptop. I Know, Why would I do such a thing! Well, There is two reasons. One, I am buying a new MacBook - So I want to get rid of it off this machine. Two, I would like to get back to Vista to get my stuff off of it to switch it to my Mac laptop. So, Here is the deal. I have 3 partitions. One of the is Drive C, which is Windows Vista Ultimate. Another on is the HP Recovery console. The final one, Drive G, would be the MACOS - where the mac is installed. I thought if I just formatted the partition that the mac OS is on, it would just let me load into windows. Well, I am WRONG! lol. It will not let me boot into anything. It said something about unable to load OS. I Know that my partition of Windows is still there, because it is shown on the desktop of the Mac. I would just like to know how to get rid of the Mac OS and let me get back to Vista so I can get ready to Transfer my data to the new MacBook when it gets here. Thank You All! If you need more information, just post what I need to do! Also, I need to get this done ASAP! I have to move into college in 3 days, but the sooner the beter! Sorry about the Double Post, but go ahead and delete this topic. I read that you couldn't delete the partition and go back it windows. So, I am screwed. I am just going to reinstall windows and use one of my backups. Thanks Anyways.
