kuhsay Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 Hello... After a several tries I finally got OSX running on my Vostro 1500 . One of the problems I had - it was running extremely slow and crashed after a few minutes of use - was because of a faulty hard drive. I am trying to get my audio fixed based on Hexidecimal's guide which says to use the Apple HDA Patcher but the link to that site is currently down. Does anyone have a copy of this they can upload? Also, I have a dual-monitor setup I want to use. If I plug in my external monitor and click 'Detect Displays' in System Preferences > Display, both screens go completely black and do not recover until the system is powered off.
