wrath0x
Hey Guys, firstpost. I'm having issues with an osx86 install. The install boots then goes to a light blue screen. Then stays there. I left it for about 3 hours, and lo and behold its still there. Though, now its making noises out of the speakers. It seems like its failing to start sound device properly, like when you have a bad windows driver and your sound goes all choppy. Is there any to boot osx86 without probing for sound devices or anyhting like that? I tried pci=nopci to no avail, and verbose mode didnt show any errors. Acer extensa 5220 2GB Ram 80GB HDD Cel m 1.86 ..dodgy realtek onboard sound Thanks in advance guys I should probably note that im using the osx flat image. I want to see if it works before i buy it (which i will) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121290-sound-based-installation-problem-it-seems/ Share on other sites
