maximilian298453 Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 I have a hackintosh built around the asus P5GC-MX motherboard and while the 10.5.2 compatibility list on the osx86 wiki say that the "Audio works with HDAPatcher ALC883", the kalyway installer for 10.5.2 seemed to get it to work right off so I never looked into it. While the output is great, the mic in seems to not work (just got a mic for skype so didn't notice before). The mic works fine when I boot the system to windows XP, so that's not the problem. Anyhow, I figured I'd try the ALC883 approach, but am having trouble finding the kexts in question and the http://wiki.taruga.net/ site seems to be invalid now. Anyone know if it's moved or if there are any other sources for the HDAPatcher ALC883? Thanks a lot.
