gui3
im running iatkos v4i on a thinkpad x61 tablet, dual-bootskies with vista. i have an integrated mini-pci Sierra EVDO card. in system profiler it is detected as a USB device: Sierra Wireless MC5725 Modem it works in vista, and i keep it powered on. I don't even know how to approach getting this to work - any ideas? gui3
for an update: i followed the methods being used in this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=44942 and this thread http://forum.osx86scene.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2541 essentially what i did was download Sierra's card manager program, install it, then go into its kext's, find my card model and increase its idproduct value by 1. according to the poster of that thread, increasing the value by one makes it work as an internal modem. i followed those instructions. the light on my machine indicating that it's powered on is lit. i can't get sierra's app or OSX to see it. oddly, while i was doing this, i tried setting up bluetooth to the x61 with my macbook. it paired, then bluetooth turned off and won't turn back on. what else can i try?
