Yoda3000
Hi, I run OS X 10.4.4 on my Mitac 8080 Laptop and everything works fine, but my CPU fan is often working. But when I look into the Activity Monitor there's nearly no CPU usage. I think the CPU is fully working on 1,4 Ghz but thats not neccesary. Befor I installed OS X 10.4.4 I tested 10.4.1 and there was an Option in System Preferences -> Energy Saver -> Options to control the CPU. When I choosed "Automatic" or "Max. Battery" the CPU was reguled down and only on heavy usage worked on full 1,4 Ghz. But now on 10.4.4 this Option is missing and I can't find any Solution for this. Did anybody has the same Problem and maybe a Workaround? PS: On 10.4.4 my battery stats aren't shown in the System bar. Is this Problem maybe connected to the above one?
