floe
Hello everyone, I've installed a vanilla Leopard on my Thinkpad T60 using the boot-132 loader. I even managed to update to 10.5.4 without problems; however, the hardware support is still a bit lacking (sound & gfx). Now, most of the instructions here in the forums relate either to Kalway or JaS, so I was wondering whether I can use all this stuff on my vanilla installation, too. As I'm dual-booting with Linux, I was thinking about trying the following: - make a backup of initrd.img - mount the disk image in Linux (already tried, works) - add extra kexts there - reboot - if it doesn't work, revert to backup Does this sound like a good idea?
