iphonefreak Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 I've a setup as shown in my signature below. Desperately trying to find a lan fix for my onboard RTL8201 audio. I googled and found PCGenUli526xEthernet.kext which others claim can work flawlessly. I tried and it works indeed, but only when i'm in safe mode uisng -x If i boot up normally i would get a kernel panic as shown in attached screenshot. I used kexthelper, so shouldnt ny permissions problem. IF anyone can teach me how to fix this panic would be appreciated!!! I'm using kalyway 10.5.2 and my motherboard is an AsRock am2-xli esata2 wich is the same as yours but for am2 socket. The funny thing is that in my first instalation of Kalyway it worked like a charm but since I did a lot of things with it trying to make wireless card, sound and video work I formatted the hard disk and reinstall and now I'm just like you.
