trend1 Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 hello, first my rig: intel dg965wh mobo 3gb ram raptor hd msi 7300gt i use logic studio 8 i had an core2duo e6320 with 1.866gh in my rig and upgraded it with a q6600 quad with 2,4gh. when i now load my logic files i`ll get a system overload message and the playback stops. i never got that message before with my duo core. normally my system performance should be better with a quad cpu. i would guess. my system profiler show me it´s an intel core 2 quad cpu Q6600 with 4 Ghz, one cpu with 4 cores. does anybody has an explanation for this? best trend Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120171-wtf-performance-loss-after-cpu-upgrade/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
