Finally got iAtkos 2.0i working! But now i hoblems...

Hi Everyone,

 

Finally after weeks of trying to download iAtkos 2.0i I have finally managed to install it.

 

Now, I am in it, the sound works, but nothing else does. The screen resolution is stuck on 1024x780 or whatever it is and I really need to change it....Also the colour in it looks pretty dodgy too......I also NEED wireless.

 

 

I tried installing a kext file for my graphics card although when I restarted, after the boot screen (apple logo) the screen just went black as if it was turned off. I don't know how to install kexts as i'm a n00b so if anyone can help that would be great

 

 

Here's what I need kexts for (and instructions how to install them!!! lol)

 

 

 

My Laptop: Acer TravelMate 3290

System: Windows XP Pro/iAtkos 2.0i

Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (driver NEEDED!)

Wireless: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (Needed!)

LAN: Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet (not required....)

 

 

 

Also my mac can't enter standby. I click it and the desktop just freezes as it is and i have to force restart. Might this be fine AFTER i have installed the graphics kext????

Hey men! You didn't read before or what?! Most Intel wireless card DOESN'T work on OSx86 with no exceptions. And 3945 is known to be piece of {censored} in your laptop. Go on ebay and buy a Dell Mini card wireless 1390 for 10$ plus shipping (cheaper yes!) and plug in it, and you'd got a wireless card recognize as Airport Extreme!! Oh yes, unbelievable

 

Also, for your graphics, take a little trip for finding Natit packages. This guy coded packages for ATI graphics cards and I think he's support the mobility one... Anyway, take a look at this
