OSX_68_UK
I'm looking at an asus 8800GT, I have checked that HW compatibility list, and this chipset is supported, but does it matter which Vendor you go for? In my experience ASUS are a decent make. Thanks for your time. OSX_68_UK
No, it doesn't matter. Apparently many people have had problems getting ASUS cards working properly (QE available, Hardware Acceleration etc), I was in the IRC channel and was given help trying to edit the com.apple.Boot.plist, sadly none of these worked. I had to use the Nvidia Universal Installer package to get it working.
