Ipodtouchy Posted August 6, 2008 Share Posted August 6, 2008 Hey guys the spec at the bottom so i burned the iAKOS image to dvd+rw at 1* and then then i booted from the iAKOS i pressed F8 Then i typed in -v to check it boot setup alright but half way down it stalled at ACPI_SMsomething and then it just stoped tried disabling the driver with Platform=X86PC PLEASE help i realy want to try out Leoperd its mint IBM Thinkpad R50e Win xp home Want OSX leoperd on lol Motherboard unkown (sorry guys) 40GB Harddrive (Filled it up but set aside 9GB for leoperd) Intel intergrated brill for games lol and 775mb of ram with Intel Celeron M boots up in less then 20 seconds from boot to desktop Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119610-help-acpi-error-before-setup-starts/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
