mgaudu
Ok, here is the thing.... I have Kalyway 10.5.2 installed on a 160GB SATA HDD, and now I'm just farting around with different install approches. So I thought of using iAtkos v4 and installing it on a compactflash card (8GB) that is hooked up through a SATA adapter. I have been reading the forums and noticed that iAtkos doesn't work well with installing it on SATA, but im trying anyway. Yet again I get stuck that the "still waiting for root device" message during the -v load. Any one got any thoughts on what to do or if this attempt will even work. ASUS p5n-d, 4GB patriot, 8800 gts, intel Q6600 2.4 @ 3.0 are the specs on my comp Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118795-loading-iatkos-on-compact-flash/ Share on other sites
mgaudu
Alright, After a day of tinkering and realizing that I cant even get iAtkos to load of a IDE HDD let alone the compact flash, I'm stuck. I have tried to boot with -v, -v -x, and nothing is working. I am still getting stuck at "still waiting for root device" message. I have reset the bois and removed other HDDs in my machine and still nothing. Any advice?
