freedomThinker
has anyone had any luck getting the audio to work for a gigabyte ep43-ds3l? i've tried all the different kext methods and I even have a good sound card dump from ubuntu, but it still didn't work using taruga's 1.20 patcher. i know it uses alc888 onboard audio, but i still haven't been able to get it to work.. any suggestions would be helpful. davidcmc
I have the same motherboard. To make onboard audio work you don't need to mess with any codec dump. Just intall this patched AppleHDA: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/uploads/...pleHDA.kext.zip And install HDAEnabler.kext too. That's it.
