PT0NE
I have had my install of leopard working without downtime since early January; I have had no problems whatsoever. I used the flat image install of 10.5.0 which has worked flawlessly for me so I had no need to update my installation with the new Kalyway disks. But now I want to update my software and I'm wondering if a Kalyway combo update would work on my flat-image install or is compatibility limited to Kalyway installs?Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R (Full sleep/wake compatibillity out-of-box)Intel Q6600 Quad CoreXFX 7600GT (Full support out-of-box)Realtek ALC889A sound (Patch required)Realtek Ethernet (Full support out-of-box)4GB RAMIf I used a Kalyway update, the only kext I would have to fix would be the Azailia Audio kext I am using for my sound. All my other components are working out the box. But the question is would the update work at all?
