ASUS PSCH-SR/IDE Server Board P4 HT Kalyway

I've been able to install Kalyway 10.5.2 on this system with no major issues, but I wanted to go back to 10.5.1 because I know the system will work with my existing RAID.

 

However, regardless of which version I install, I cannot see more than 128GB of drive space. This is on an IDE drive. The BIOS options for the PSCH are somewhat odd, because the settings for SATA somehow also affect the IDE settings. I have the option of Auto, Standard, Enhanced, SATA Only, and RAID.

 

I have tried a few settings like Auto and Enhanced but no luck.

 

The other issue is that this board came with Rage XL AGP graphics built onto the board. It works fine without any kexts loaded but I get weird artifacts and splotches when too many graphical elements are used, more noticle on graphics than text. It only loads in 1024 x 768 at Thousands of colours. No options to change that. Just curious if some of the older native Mac OS X drivers for Rage cards would work assuming an Intel version could be found.

 

Main reason for using this board was I got it cheap and it will make a great server.
