Hello all, I have a perfectly running P5K Deluxe with one exception. I used Kalyway 10.5.2 and left the default audio driver boxes checked off (I believe it was the first 3). I then Used the Jas updater to get to 10.5.3, and from there updated from Apple to 10.5.4. The problem is I only had digital out available in the audio output section of, system preferences, so I used the driver package called, Taruga AD1988b rev3 Installer, which worked like a charm, however when I boot I get an awful hi pitched buzz. It will stop once I play something in iTunes, however it is annoying. I examined my system specs, and I see that it is reading that it contains TWO built in Audio interfaces. I am assuming it's the driver from the Kalyway install, with the Taruga one. If anyone knows the exact kexts to delete to remove the ones installed with Kalyway I would be very greatfull. My system specs are below:

Asus P5K Deluxe

4 gigs OCZ 1066 memory

Western Digital 640 gig serial ATA 7200 HD

I use onboard sound and ethernet

Graphics Card: Diamond ATI Radeon 3870

650 Watt PS

Samsung sh-s203n burner

QX6700 processor, Quad Core 2.67, with unlocked multiplier

Kalyway 10.5.2, updated with Jas to 10.5.3, then Apple to 10.5.4, All drivers are from Kalyway except I used the Taruga audio driver on top of the Kalyway one ;) ...and the graphics driver I used from Kalyway and then used the updated package for 10.5.3 and that works perfectly. Basically, everything works beautifully except that double sound issue and the hi pitched buzz when I bott up. Thanks in advance for ANY help at all :D

Update: Nevermind, I solved it myself. Apparently the P5K's on board WiFi was interfering with the sound for some reason, and since I don't use wireless on my desktop, just ethernet, I just disabled it in the BIOS, and PROBLEM SOLVED :)...Thanks anyway to anyone that might have helped if you knew
