After successful install Kalyway 10.5.2 boot from hdd hangs

I successfully install Kalyway 10.5.2 dvd iso and go to bios, change boot priority to hdd where leopard is. starts boot but hangs here:

I have tried messing with bios settings for a few hours now but with no success (sometimes it doesn't quite hang at the same spot)

 

things I haven't tried that may be the problem:

 

-different ram (maybe my corsair ram just isn't compatible for whatever reason)

 

-ram installed into different slots (although I don't think this would make a difference)

 

-Different customized options during install. I have re-installed probably 5 or 6 times now with different options selected. if anyone could give me a decent guide of what to select for customizing that would be helpful.

 

I am stuck right now and not very savvy when it comes to deciphering this computer jargin, any help is appreciated. thanks in advance!

I need some advice here. I mean the install is successful but I can't get the actual OS to boot afterward!  I tried the new iAtkos but I got the "no-smoking" symbol.  This is driving me crazy after 10+ re-installs with different options. I am starting to think there is some otehr problem.
