FishYaker
I'm having a problem connecting to my home network. I have a hub connected to a DSL modem. The modem is setup for DHCP and works fine for my windows devices in issuing an IP address. I've setup eth0 to use DHCP and it says that the cable is unplugged and will not connect. I then used the static method and set the IP address to an unused ip and that seem to have worked for a short time and then stopped. I have no problems with connecting to a network with a domain controller that uses DHCP,DNS and WINS. Has anyone seen this before? EnVmyZ
I know this may sound stupid, but delete your network device. Reboot, and when you go back into network prefs it should say new port found. Give that a try. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117613-network-problem/#findComment-833409 Share on other sites
